It was my niece’s first birthday party a few days ago. Now,
my sister has been watching a lot of the Cake Boss and Planet Cake over the
past year and was inspired to do something a little spectacular for her youngest daughter's birthday. What do you
think? I regret not taking a better photo but I think it's clear the cake looks brilliant.
The seahorse is based on my niece’s favourite toy. Not only
did it look fantastic, it was also delicious. I can’t wait to see what she does
for her eldest daughter’s birthday in May.
Pattern heads-up: I’ll be posting a pattern for a bit of a
wild-eyed looking Easter bunny within the next week.
